Scrubber Emission Control SystemBallast Tank Water Management & Treatment System
Purpose: FRP PIPE ROUTING FOR SCRUBBER EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM
As of 2015, ship operators required to burn the fuel less than 0.1% sulfur content. To achieve this requirement they need to install Exhaust Gas Cleaning System and the Scrubber Emission Control System.
Wecom Engineering will supply, fabricate, install and test the FRP pipes that are installed for these systems since the system intake is sea water which is highly corrosive. We have successfully installed the first Scrubber Emission Control System in vessel “White Sea” in Singapore for our client, Ecospec Global Technology.
Purpose: FRP PIPE ROUTING FOR BALLAST TANK WATER MANAGEMENT & TREATMENT SYSTEM
To reduce the global sea environmental hazard caused by contaminated ballast water, IMO stipulated all the ships built from 2012 (with all the ships fitted by 2017) to install the Ballast Water Management & Treatment System on-board which will meet the stringent standards of water quality set by IMO.
Wecom Engineering will provide the full package which consists of the Ballast Tank Water Management & Treatment System that includes the skid /base plate. We will supply, fabricate, install and test the FRP pipes that are installed for this system, including Electrical & Instrumentation works.
